DCC does not install.
Hello, I am someone who uses 3ds Max 2024.
DCC does not install properly on 3ds Max 2024.
It says it was installed in the log, but it doesn’t actually run.
Even after restarting 3dsmax and SkinLayer Studio, it’s still the same.
How shall I do it?

We identified the cause through remote support on the reported environment, and we are currently fixing it.
As an immediate step, we walked through the workaround below. SkinLayer Studio should be usable right away with this method. We will also make the connector attach automatically as soon as possible.
This does not usually appear in a typical setup. It can happen when an earlier script already in the 3ds Max startup folder fails before SkinLayer Studio is installed, so the connector later in the list never runs. This is not a bad install.
