Terms of Service — Beta Program

Last Updated: 2026-02-11

This is a supplemental addendum to the OtakuSolutions General Terms of Service. Matters not covered herein are governed by the General Terms.

Specific rights, obligations, liability limits, and benefits of the beta program are governed by the separately executed "Beta Tester Agreement". This addendum provides general guidance; the individual agreement takes precedence.

Article 1 (Definition of Beta Software)

The beta program is a pre-release testing program provided by the Company. Beta software is a product under development and may be less stable than the official release.

Beta software is an incomplete product and may contain bugs, errors, incomplete features, or performance issues. Users must fully understand and accept these conditions before participating.

Article 2 (License Validity Period)

1. Licenses provided through the beta program are valid only for the beta period. A separate purchase or agreement may be required upon official release. The Company determines the validity period of beta licenses.

2. The Company may freely set the beta program period and may terminate or modify the beta program with prior notice.

Article 3 (Participant Obligations)

Beta program participants must comply with the following obligations:

  • Provide honest and thorough feedback on discovered bugs and issues.
  • Keep confidential information of the beta software (unreleased features, internal UI, etc.) and not disclose it externally.
  • Not distribute, share, or resell the beta software to any third party.

Article 4 (Complimentary Licenses & Benefits)

Complimentary licenses and discount benefits may be provided in accordance with the separately executed Beta Tester Agreement (e.g., marketing cooperation, confidential participation). Specific terms are governed by the participation type and individual agreement.

Article 5 (Liability & Limitations)

  • The Company's liability scope and limits for data loss, work delays, or system issues arising from beta software use are governed by the separately executed Beta Tester Agreement.
  • Compatibility of project files created during the beta period with the official release version is not guaranteed.
  • Beta programs are not subject to refund; they are handled through license retrieval, discounted purchase conversion, or other measures as defined in the Beta Tester Agreement.
